HOTEL REVIEW - PALISSANDRE HOTEL AND SPA
The Palissandre Hotel and Spa is located at 13 Rue Andriandahifotsy in the centre of Antananarivo. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the city and is built in typical Malagasy style with rosewood and marble and pink brick trim. There are 46 rooms at the hotel - 8 twin, 2 triple deluxe rooms and 27 double rooms of which 7 are deluxe. All the rooms have air conditioning, a safe, television, mini bar and telephone. The rooms have great views over the city. The hotel's restaurant, 'Les Hautes Terres' offers dishes seasoned with local spices and the hotel's bar 'Amphore' serves excellent cocktails.

The Palm Hotel is located in the city and in an ideal position for both business travellers and tourists. The hotel is situated near several embassies in a safe area in the city and is within walking distance of several restaurants and nearby shopping areas. There are standard rooms and larger suites available - the suites come with a small but fully equipped kitchenette. There is free Internet access in the rooms as well as satellite television. The hotel has no restaurant but does offer breakfast and does have a small bar.
