HOTELS REVIEW - GWALA GWALA TENTED CAMP
This tented camp, 30 minutes drive the National Park, is in the Limpopo Province Lowveld, outside Timbavati Game Reserve. The accommodation consists of six luxury safari tents on raised wooden platforms, each with an en-suite bathroom supplied with hot water and electricity. There is a swimming pool in the camp. Also included with the accommodation is a bar, breakfast and reading area. The camp is not fenced so animals will wander in at times. A small shop provides essentials. Activities consist of early morning guided walking and game-drives in an open Land Rover. You can see the ‘Big Five’ (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) here. Children over the age of 12 are welcome.
