Exeter Private Game Reserve Hotel Review, Sabie Sand Kruger National Park South African Luxury Safari Lodge Accommodation Wildlife Big5 Swimming Pool
HOTELS REVIEW - EXETER LUXURY LODGE
Exeter is a luxury 5-star private game reserve in the Sabie Sands sector of the Kruger National Park. Watch the animals from the privacy of your own plunge pool (all suites have them) at one of three lodges: Leadwood Lodge, River Lodge and Dulini Safari Lodge. The elegant Leadwood is ideal for a family or group of friends on safari – there are four air-conditioned suites with views of the river, wooden decks, fireplaces and ensuite bathrooms. River Lodge, with eight luxury suites all with great views, lies in a grove of ebony trees on the banks of the Sand River. Dulini Lodge caters to just 12 people, with six stone cottages overlooking the riverbed. Exeter offers twice-daily game drives to see the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Interpretive wilderness walks teach guests about fauna and flora - all are led by expert rangers and Shangaan trackers. Meals may be shared on the lodge’s open deck or in the boma around a roaring fire.
