Elephant Plains Game Reserve is a luxury 4-star safari lodge overlooking a scenic plain in the Sabi Sands sector of the Kruger National Park. The main lodge, which houses a dining room, curio shop and African health spa, is built on the banks of a river and overlooks a scenic plain and watering hole where animals come to drink daily. There are five spacious thatched ensuite chalets decorated in an African theme and six luxury suites, with wood fires and private sundecks, that overlook the dry riverbed. One chalet is specially built for disabled guests. The lodge hosts a maximum of 22 guests, ensuring personalised servce. An experienced game ranger and local Shangaan tracker are the guides on morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. All the Big 5 – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard – and many species of birds and antelope may be seen. Bush walks depart daily after breakfast and evening meals are served around the fire in the open-air boma enclosure. Dress: bushveld casual.

Excellent facilities and great attention to detail. Rooms are very nicely furnished and have outside showers. Lots of Elephants around to see fom the pool when we were there.Staff all very freindly too. Will go back on my next rrip.
