Idube Private Game Reserve Hotel Reviews, Sabie Sands Kruger National Park South African Safari Lodge Tour Accommodation 5star Big5 Lion Elephant Cats
HOTELS REVIEW - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SOUTH AFRICAN SAFARI LODGES
Idube is a 5-star family-owned safari game lodge in the Sabie Sands sector of the Kruger National Park. Game drives, led by experienced rangers and trackers, are in open-top Land Rovers – even the Big 5 (elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo) may be viewed up close. Guests are often met by an Nyala family of antelope that have made the luxury lodge their own. There are 10 airy ensuite chalets, each individually decorated, with high ceilings, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Each has a wooden deck (good for relaxing and game viewing) and guests are invited to discover the romance of bathing under the stars in the outdoor showers. Idube has a swimming pool, a gym and a sunken hide overlooking a dam where animals come to drink – perfect for wildlife photographers. The main lodge also has a big deck with great views of the riverbed and animals heading to the dam or grazing on the lawns. Venison is regularly served in the boma, where guests gather for dinner around a roaring fire.
