Dawsons Game Trout Lodge Hotel Review, Mpumalanga Kruger National Park Horseback Safari Horse Riding Holiday Mobile Camp Accommodation Fishing Birds

HOTELS REVIEW - DAWSONS HORSEBACK RIDING SAFARI
Dawson’s Game & Trout Lodge is a luxury hotel in Mpumalanga, ideal for trout fishing and horse-riding safaris into Songimvelo Game Reserve, near the Kruger National Park. This 5-star lodge says lack of pretension is one of its trademarks. Dinner, bed and breakfast or self-catering options are available. Eight sumptuous ensuite rooms with Victorian-style bathrooms all have king-size four-poster beds, antique furniture and open fireplaces. Mini bars are stocked with home-made chocolate chip cookies and freshly ground coffee. Rooms open to verandas overlooking the mountains and valley. This is a popular wedding venue. There is also a beautifully restored old farmhouse with seven rooms (five with ensuites) that can accommodate 14 people sharing – ideal for group getaways. The main lodge has a swimming pool, activity room and a library. Dawson's is child friendly, can meet special dietary requirements and has disability access. Guests can go bass and trout fishing at one of seven dams. Other activities include quad biking, archery, clay-pigeon shooting, bird watching and hiking. Horse-riding safaris for experienced riders must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
