Gwala Gwala Safari Camp Reviews Kruger National Park South Africa Tented Safari Camp Accommodation Klaserie River Limpopo Lion Elephant Cheetah

HOTEL REVIEW - GWALA GWALA SAFARI CAMP
Gwala Gwala is a 4-star safari camp on the banks of the Klaserie River close to the Kruger National Park. Here you can listen to the roar of the lion at night from the comfort of a tent among the trees. Luxury tents – all with ensuite bathrooms and decks – are built on wooden platforms raised on stilts. The camp can host a maximum of 12 people in its six tents. The central lodge has a swimming pool, tree-house pub and a thatched open lounge that overlooks the river and is a good spot for game watching. In this area of the Limpopo Province known as the Valley of the Elephants, expect to see not just elephants, but giraffe, zebra, lion and many antelope species. In addition to offering game drives, guided walks and bird watching in viewing hides, the camp arranges excusions such as hot-air ballooning, visits to a wild animals rehabilitation centre and white-water rafting.

Sorry to see that no comments have been posted. My wife and I enjoyed a few days at Gwala Gwala in 2005. The camp was very clean. The accommodations neat and clean and the hosts exceptionally friendly and helpful. Their safari through the adjacent area was exciting and beautiful. Access to Kruger National Park was arranged through the lodge. Would definitely recommend this lodge.
