Gomo Gomo Safari Lodge Hotel Reviews, Kruger National Park South Africa

HOTELS REVIEW - GOMO GOMO GAME LODGE
Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is a 4-star safari camp with chalets and luxury tents in the greater Kruger National Park’s Timbavati sector, home of the rare white lion. The child-friendly camp, built on the banks of a river and shaded by age-old jackalberry and leadwood trees, caters for up to 18 guests, with five thatched chalets and four East African-style luxury tents - all with en-suite facilities. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on a deck overlooking the river and eat dinner the traditional African way: around a log fire in a boma. See the Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo – as well as giraffe, zebra and antelope. It's a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 300 species recorded, including various eagles, owls, francolins, kingfishers, rollers and weavers. Guests go on daily bush walks and game drives led by experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers in open 4X4 vehicles.

Gomo was a revelation and first experience of tented accommodation. What a tent. Food there was fine too
