Hoyo Hoyo is a luxury 5-star game lodge built in the style of a Tsonga Village in the Kruger National Park, with access via Orpen Gate. All six Tsonga-style huts are beautifully furnished with king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms, with antique-style baths, air-conditioning and spectacular views over the river and the veld. There is a swimming pool and butler service. Activities include game drives, bush walks and bird watching. See the Big 5 – elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo – as well as a host of other mammals. The area is also home to more than 100 reptile species and 500 bird species. Dinner may be enjoyed around a log fire in a boma and drinks are served in an authentic calabash. Meals have traditional flair - discover the delights of the South Africa braai (barbecue) and potjie pot. No children under age 8. This is a real getaway – the area doesn’t even have mobile phone reception.
