Imbali is a 5-star safari lodge designed in the style of an old, opulent hunting lodge that is situated in the Kruger National Park. Up to 24 guests may be accommodated in 12 luxury chalets, each with a jacuzzi on a private deck that has stunning views of the riverbed and plains beyond. Rooms have king or single beds, ensuites with antique-style baths and open-plan lounges with fireplaces. All chalets have air-conditioning and phones (but there is no mobile phone reception). Guests may go on game drives with experienced rangers in 4x4 vehicles, guided bush walks, bird watching, self-drive in the Kruger Park or simply relax in the spa. Expect to see a huge variety of birds and animals, including the Big 5 – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Imbali offers a butler service, internet facilities and will cater to dietary requirements. The main lodge has a swimming pool that overlooks a waterhole where animals such as giraffe and zebra come to drink.
