The luxury 5-star Steenberg Hotel is located on a historic working wine farm in the foothills of the magnificent Stone Mountains amongst vineyards and an 18-hole championship golf course. It is situated 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. Each of the 30 en-suite rooms is air-conditioned, tastefully furnished with antiques and overlooking vineyards, the golf course or manicured gardens. Premier rooms are modern with open plan spaces and feature romantic patios. Amenities include a restaurant, on-site hairstylist and beauty consultant, gymnasium and swimming pool. The Steenberg Hotel, with its immaculate landscaped gardens, is a popular venue for a Cape Winelands wedding.

"Wonderful quiet" We stayed in the hotel for 5 days and it was a perfect venue. The rooms are big and it was so beautiful. Outside playing squirrels in daytime while we had lunch in Catharina´s..the jazz brunch on sundays is more than perfect.. getting a massage in the new spa after playing 18 holes on the steenberg golf
course is an experience I´ll never miss. So we decided alrady to go again,but then for a longer time.
"A luxurious hotel in a tranquil setting" The sense of tranquility and luxury is very special and the personalised service outstanding. ..The area is a tranquil antidote to the hustle and bustle of Cape Town and yet it is only 30 minutes drive away from the City Bowl (the journey will take twice as long during the weekday rush hour). There are a number of world-class restaurants and wineries within 10 minutes drive of the estate and Cape Point is only 45 minutes away by car.
Steenberg was outstanding - we thought we'd arrived in paradise! The staff were very attentive and the restaurant was first class. Constantia is the perfect base from which to explore both the city and the peninsula, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone - it was perfect, and the service was impeccable.
