Chinengwe Bush Camp South Luangwa National Park Hotel Reviews Zambia Safari Holiday Accommodation Lodge Rooms Ensuite Game Drives Walks Wildlife Hyena

HOTELS REVIEW – CHINENGWE BUSH CAMP SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK ZAMBIA AFRICA
Chinengwe is a new safari camp that opened in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park in 2007. It has four reed and thatch en suite rooms overlooking the Luangwa River and Chinengwe Channel. All rooms have indoor and outdoor showers. The dining and bar area is under a canopy of trees and has a view of the river. Walk around the area, with its open plain, woodland and network of lagoons and cool off on hot days in a plunge pool. The camp is in the southern sector of South Luangwa National Park, where huge herds of elephant and buffalo roam. The park's dominant antelope species are impala and puku, bird life is prolific and unique species such as Thornicroft's giraffe and Cookson's wildebeest may be seen. The main predators are lion, leopard, spotted hyaena and wild dogs. Cheetah may also be spotted. Activities include game drives and game walks, including a guided walking trail from Kalamu Tented Camp to Chinengwe Bush Camp, or vice versa.
