The blue train was very good - the food perhaps not up to the Orient Express standard - but still good. Service was excellent. When I expressed some doubt as to whether I could manage to get out and board a bus at the stop we made, the staff took it into their own hands and very gently lifted me and the wheelchair and made sure I was fully included in all the entertainments at the stop.
There was also a fabulous camera museum there which I am so glad I didn't miss. Back to the train - my husband was blown over by the smoking car -he doesn't usually smoke but did succumb to the 30 year old brandy and cuban cigar! -and we were the only ones there! Moving along the corridors with the wheelchair is fine-just a little tricky getting from one coach to the next - but there are always people to help.

An unmissable experience!
