SAFARI LODGE HOTELS REVIEW - BONAMANZI, HLUHLUWE, DURBAN SOUTH AFRICA
The private game park is in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu Natal. Accommodation is divided into different lodges. There is the raised, above-ground Tree Lodge with three rooms, lounge dining room and kitchen, which offers views of the water hole. Then there is the self-catering Game Lodge for eight people, Dinizulu Lodge, which sleeps six adults, with dining room, lounge, and entertainment area, situated on the banks of the Dinizulu Lake. The largest accommodation here is Lalapanzi Camp, which accommodates 52 guests. There are also four campsites available. There is a pool for guests at Lalapanzi Camp. Activities at Bonamanzi include game-drives and walking safaris, during which you can view many animals including elephant, leopard, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, crocodile, hippo, varied antelope species, warthog and Hyena. The Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) are viewable at the nearby Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserves. Wedding and conference facilities are available. Children of all ages are welcome, and there are many activities here especially for children.

Rooms were good, if on the small side and staff were friendly but food was not good - poor to below average at best. Grounds were well kept and a good variety of wildlife and birds
