HOTELS REVIEW - AUBERGE BURGUNDY HERMANUS SOUTH AFRICA
The Auberge Burgundy, situated above the stunning Old Harbour and in the heart of Hermanus, is a Provençal-style guesthouse with courtyards and stone terraces. Walker Bay is only 50m from the Auberge Burgundy’s front door. The guesthouse’s rooms range from pool-side suites (with fire-place, kitchen and sea view) to the luxurious Penthouse, which has three double rooms and sleeps six people and has its own kitchen and lounge. Some rooms have an en-suite (bath or shower), some have balconies or are near the pool. Restaurants, craft market, boutiques, art galleries and shopping malls are within easy walking distance. Activities in the area include whale-watching, shark cage diving, kayaking and sailing in Walker Bay, sand-boarding and wine or township tours. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted (except during May, June and July).
