HOTELS REVIEW - CRATER FOREST TENTED LODGE

The Crater Forest Tented Lodge is situated just outside of Karatu Town on the edge of the Ngorongoro Tropical Forest and borders the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The lodge is built on the Kirin Coffee Estate on what used to be cultivated lands and consists of 15 tented rooms all of which have views over the forest. All the rooms have a private verandah and an en suite bathroom with hot shower. In addition to game drives and animal viewing, the lodge also offers mountain biking in the numerous trails around the lodge, cultural tours with Masaai guides, tours of the coffee plantation and forest walks.
