HOTELS REVIEW - SPEKE BAY LODGE

Speke Bay Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Victoria, 15 kilometres from the Serengeti National Park. There are 8 bungalows at the lodge. Each bungalow is positioned directly on the lake shore and has a private terrace as well as a loft with two twin beds and an en suite bathroom. There is also a tented camp area that has twelve tents, all of which are fully furnished and contain hot showers. There is a bar, restaurant and lounge on site, all joined by a large terrace and offering a variety of international and Tanzanian cuisine. The activities offered by Speke Bay Lodge include canoe excursions to Mwaburugu village, guided mountain bike trips, fishing and guided birdwatching walks.
