Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Reviews Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania Safari Holiday Luxury Accommodation Massage Game Drives Big Five Bush Walks

HOTELS REVIEW - NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE

Built on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge overlooks the famous crater in northern Tanzania. The design of the lodge was inspired by the traditional Maasai homestead. There are three separate camps at the lodge - North, South, and Tree. The North Camp and South Camp have 12 suites each whilst the Tree Camp has six. The suites are all on stilts and are furnished with features such as chandeliers, gilt mirrors, fireplaces and rich raw silk curtains. Each suite also has an en suite bathroom, private verandah with views of the crater floor and butler service. Every camp has its own dining room, lounge and observation decks. Children over the age of five are welcome at the lodge and there are babysitting services available on request. Activities on offer include Big Five game drives, bush walks, crater picnics and sundowners, Maasai cultural trips and trips out to the Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands.
