HOTELS REVIEW - TEMBO HOUSE HOTEL

Tembo House Hotel is situated on the beachfront in Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar. It is less than a kilometre away from the harbour and a few minutes drive from the airport. All of the 37 rooms are furnished with local antiques and guests sleep on traditional wood carved beds. Each room is air-conditioned and has a television and fridge and most have a balcony overlooking either the ocean or the swimming pool courtyard. The hotel offers a laundry service and has a swimming pool and restaurant offering both local and traditional cuisine.
