HOTELS REVIEW - GIBB'S FARM HOUSE LODGE

Gibb's Farm is situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area halfway between Lake Manyara and Nogorongoro Crater and is near the village of Karatu. It is a working farm - producing vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs and is also a dairy and pig farm. The accommodation at the lodge is in farm cottages that have wraparound fireplaces and en suite bathrooms. The restaurant at the main farmhouse prepares the fresh produce from the farm for daily meals. The Farm House Lodge has a spa - the African Living Spa - that offers a range of African style beauty treatments. Gibb's Farm House is also well located to spend some time walking in the nearby Ngorongoro Forest or the Manyara National Park.
