HOTELS REVIEW - MNEMBA ISLAND RESORT

Mnemba Island is just 2.5 kilometres - a twenty minute boat trip - north of Zanzibar island. The island is just one mile in circumference and is the location for the Mnemba Island Lodge. The coral reefs that surround the island have created excellent diving spots. Accommodation is offered in ten bandas (huts) with private verandahs, sea views and en suite bathrooms. There is also a thatched dining and bar area for meals. All the bandas are decorated in the typical Zanzibar style of intricate woodcarving and are equipped with fans.
