HOTELS REVIEW - BELVIDERE MANOR HOTEL KNYSNA SOUTH AFRICA
The four-star Belvidere Manor Hotel is located on the outskirts of Knysna, along the Garden Route. There are 34 private cottages with either single- or double-storey options and views of the Knysna lagoon or the hotel’s gardens. Each cottage has a wide verandah, an airy living room with comfortable sofas, fireplace, ceiling fans, satellite TV and DVD player, kitchen, and one-, two- or three-ensuite double bedrooms. All rooms are fully serviced. The Belvidere has a pool, restaurant (Caroline's at Belvidere) and pub (The Bell Tavern), as well as conference and wedding facilities. Some attractions of the Knysna region include Featherbed Nature Reserve, Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train, Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, Birds of Eden (the Garden Route's free-flight bird sanctuary) and Knysna Elephant Park. Activities in the region include bird-watching, hiking, fishing, golf, paragliding, rock-climbing, bicycle touring, canoeing/kayaking, horse-riding, sailing, dolphin- and whale-watching (from June to December), surfing and more.

Best Hotel we stayed in on our 3 week holiday in SA. The Bell pub on the property is great for food and drinks- The breakfast is great and you must meet the staff all smiling and happy.
A little way from Knysna town but that not a problem Will always go back to this hitel
We had a nice room here, although it is a bit 'Laura Ashley in the 90's! Our apartment was sizable and we enjoyed the log fire and chililng out watching a movie. Sadly, one of our guests got violent food poisoning from eating at the 'Bell restaurant' on site.
