The Taj Pamodzi is a luxury hotel in Lusaka, Zambia's capital city. Part of the 5-star Indian Taj hotel chain, it has a variety of comfortable and stylish suites. Superior Rooms have a private balcony, satellite TV, mini bar and high-speed internet connectivity. Executive Rooms have the same amenities, plus cherrywood furniture and a reading desk. Business Executive Rooms feature valet service, complimentary ironing and evening cocktail hour, while Deluxe Suites have a sitting room, dining area and a bathroom with both shower and jacuzzi tub. Splurge on the Presidential Suite and enjoy 24-hour valet service plus relax in a jacuzzi on the balcony, with panoramic city views. The hotel has several bars and restaurants,
with chefs whipping up Indian and international cuisine.
There are 5 meeting rooms and banquet facilities. Catering is available for meeting breaks, main meals and cocktail parties. A fitness centre is open 24 hours and there are jewellery and souvenir shops, a swimming pool, squash courts and a
spa.

The Taj Pamodzi is simply the best hotel in Lusaka. I was just a little wary staying there during the second half of my business trip, not having heard of the Taj chain before, and not having realised that there was an Intercon ten minutes away - but I had no reason to be worried. The Taj is genuine 4-star and could attain a fifth without too much trouble. It's rooms are spacious, very well furnished, and comfortable; the food is truly fantastic (try the Indian menu!); and the staff are attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Checkout was a little slow but, aside from that, I had a wonderful and relaxing stay there for an incredible rate of $110 per night! Try it!
