Daddy Long Legs is a 3-star hotel situated in Cape Town’s thriving Long Street in a beautiful Victorian building. Each of the 13 double en suite bedrooms has been uniquely designed and decorated by a Cape Town artist, poet, photographer, designer or musician to reflect the city's contemporary cultural landscape. The communal lounge and bar area is equipped with a high-tech audio/visual unit, whilst the open balcony and bar lets you soak up the sun as you view Table Mountain and the vibrant street life below. In addition the hotel has 5 stylish self-catering fully furnished apartments, which are funky and decorated with a hint of contemporary vibrant Africanism. Each apartment sleeps 2-4 people and has an open plan kitchen, dining area lounge and bathroom with shower.

Daddy Long Legs is our favourite place to stay in Cape Town. We're trying to work our way through all of the unique rooms. It's great to spend a night or more in a space that you can feel is a product of that particular artists self-expression or social commentary, and knowing that you are the only persons experiencing it at that time. It's like a private art piece viewing...that you sleep in! And you can't beat staying right in the heart of the city!
