Sugar Beach is a luxury 4 star resort hotel situated on the West coast of Mauritius. 66 Beach villa rooms, 90 sea-facing villa rooms, 80 Manor House rooms and 2 Villa suites. All rooms have a king-sized, or twin beds, private bath, shower and toilet, electric-shaver points, hairdryer, satellite TV, video channels, direct dial telephone, air-conditioning, built-in electronic safe, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities and a private, furnished terrace or balcony. There are 20 interconnecting rooms. The beach villas are less than 30 metres from the shore of Mauritius. There is a resident band for themed entertainment evenings. The hotel has a casino with blackjack, roulette and slot machines. There is a c reche for under 4's and/or babysitters available for an extra charge. Activities include tennis (7 floodlit tennis courts), volleyball, petanque, table tennis, mini golf and a swimming pool. Water sports inclusive as free activities include water skiing, sailing, pedal boats, kayaks, glass bottom boat, snorkelling, windsurfing and sea skiing. Activities with fees included are big game fishing, parasailing and water sleigh, PADI diving school and courses. At the Sugar Club a gym, hairdressing salon and beauty centre with a variety of treatments, including massage and steam baths, are available. The hotel has car hire, shops, laundry services and a doctor on call.
