HOTELS REVIEW – MUCHENJE SAFARI LODGE CHOBE NATIONAL PARK BOTSWANA
The lodge is situated on the western side of Chobe National Park, an hour by road from the Victoria Falls. It is the only lodge in this area and offers unique game and cultural experiences. With panoramic views, the central lodge offers a lounge, bar, lookout platform, dining area, reception, curio shop, game viewing platform and library. The swimming pool is built amongst natural rock formations. The 10 twin-bedded thatched chalets, all with en-suite facilities, are situated on the escarpment's edge, all with their own balcony and view. Activities include walking safaris, private game drives from open 4 X 4 Land Rovers with qualified guides, river cruise safaris on the Chobe River, bird viewing, night drives, cultural visits to local villages and, on request, fishing and drives to the remotest parts of central Chobe. Children are welcome.
