LODGE REVIEW - JACANA CAMP JAO OKAVANGO BOTSWANA

Jacana Camp is situated in the Joa Reserve concession, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. The camp has 5 meru-style tents, each built on a wooden deck overlooking the floodplains, with an enclosed en-suite roofless bathroom with flush toilet and shower. The main dining area is on an elevated wooden deck between two magnificent sycamore fig trees and surrounded by dense wild date palms. Downstairs there is a cosy pub and lounge, with an area to sit around an open fire under the stars. Other facilities include a plunge pool and gazebo with hammocks. Activities include game drives, water game viewing in mokoro, boat trips, fishing and sleep-outs. Children over the age of 8 years are welcome.
