Chobe Savanna Lodge is a luxury 5-star game lodge on the Namibian side of the Chobe River, opposite Chobe National Park in Botswana. The lodge has 12 thatch and brick en-suite chalets, each with private deck, air-conditioning and mini bar. The main lodge has a lounge, dining room, library, bar, swimming pool, gazebo and outdoor boma. Dining is enhanced by the stunning views over the river and traditional dancing. Activities include game viewing from motor boats, canoe excursions and visit a traditional village to experience African tribal life and culture. The area is home to buffalo, hippo, large herds of elephant and predators such as wild dog and lions, which favour the river edge. This protected water wilderness has an abundance of bird life.
