Camp Okuti is a neat private camp that nestles in the shade of large, beautiful old trees and overlooks the Xakanaxa Lagoon bordering the Moremi Wildlife Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The lodge caters for 20 guests in thatched en-suite chalets. Solar panels provide 220v power, and ceiling fans are installed in each chalet. Dinner is served in the candlelit dining room, followed by liqueurs enjoyed in the sunken lounge. Safaris are conducted in open safari vehicles and excursions by motorboat afford the opportunity to explore the Upper Delta, where during breeding season flocks of herons may be seen at their nesting sites. Hippos, crocodiles and small water animals are abundant and easily visible from the lagoon. Children 8 years and older welcome. What did you think?
