SAFARI LODGE - XIGERA MOREMI OKAVANGO BOTSWANA

Xigera is a luxury tented camp situated in a riverine forest in the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Botswana. The wilderness safari camp has 10 furnished tented en-suite rooms, of which 2 are honeymoon rooms. Each tent is raised off the ground on a wooden deck offering views of the seasonal floodplain and waterhole. Shared facilities include a thatched raised lounge, pub and dining area, a traditional boma, a small plunge pool and a curio shop. Wooden walkways wind through the forest connecting the rooms to the main living area. There is also a wooden footbridge connecting Xigera Island to the next. Activities include walking safaris, mokoro trips, motor boat trips, game drives, power boat excursions and birdwatching. Children over the age of 8 years are welcome. What did you think?
