The luxury 5-star Mowana Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River, 8 km from the world famous Chobe National Park. The lodge has 108 air-conditioned rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and furnished in an ethnic style designed to blend in with the surroundings. Each room boasts its own balcony and river view. Facilities include a swimming-pool, restaurant and bar overlooking the Chobe River, boma terrace and pool bar, guest lounge and a hairdressing salon in a treehouse with a view of the river. "A dream place"
There are not enough words in all English dictionaries to express the extreme beauty of the hotel and its environment .Have been there on three occasions and will continue to visit this place. Am a world traveller and usually book in 4 or 5 star hotels. I rate Mowana on top of all the hotels i've seen in the world. This has a lot to do with the environment and the tranquilness when sitting in the open bourlounge overlooking the Chobe river. The hospitality is great, great food and very fiendly staff. A must for every person on this planet. To be seen in a persons lifetime.
