Sandibe Safari Lodge Hotel Reviews Okavango Delta Botswana Luxury Safari Holiday Tour Accommodation Wildlife Game Drive Mokoro Bush Walk Bird Watching

HOTEL REVIEW - SANDIBE SAFARI LODGE OKAVANGO DELTA SAFARI
Sandibe Safari Lodge is set on a permanent channel of the magnificent Okavango Delta, adjacent to the game-rich Moremi Wildlife Reserve on a 270 square kilometre (104 square mile) private concession. The beautiful thatched lodge nestles between permanent water and grass-swept plains with 8 exclusive twin-bedded safari cottages each with en suite bathroom, open-air shower and private game-viewing deck overlooking the Santantadibe River. The central dining area is tucked under a soaring canopy of trees. Activities include game-drives, guided bush walks and mekoro canoe rides in the delta. What did you think?

The drive to the camp included our first sighting of big cats - 2 male lions! The camp is luxurious with a plunge pool and wildlife through the camp. The rooms are wonderful with everything you could want (not the internet or such things) for a safari including an outdoor shower. The deal is all inclusive which is just what you want after a 'hard' day's drive looking for animals/birds. A lioness and 2 cubs, a leopard in a tree, and so very much more. On new year's eve, my B'day, the staff sang a local B'day song, got me up to join them to dance and gave me a woven bracelet with my name in. Sitting out under the clear sky and millions of stars what a way to celebrate. Please go you won't be disappointed.
