Lebala Camp Hotel Reviews Okavango Botswana Safari Holiday Tour Accommodation Swimming Pool Wildlife Game drives Birdwatching Elephant Zebra Giraffe

LODGE REVIEW - LEBALA CAMP KWANDO OKAVANGO SAFARI BOTSWANA
Lebala Camp is situated in a private unfenced area of Okavango Delta wilderness, surrounded by wooded savanna and dotted with palm trees. There are 8 spacious safari tents raised on a wooden deck offering unequalled views of the African wetlands. Each tent has a foyer at the entrance with comfortable chairs, luxury en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower and private sundeck. The central area consists of a game viewing balcony and open-sided dining room. There is also a stunning swimming pool and sunbathing area. Activities include game drives to view elephants, zebra, giraffe, wild dog, lion and cheetah to name a few - as well as bird watching. Children over 8 years welcome. What did you think?

The management is terrific, which is the key to anyone's experience. Note that the charm of the camp is principally the fact that the camp is off the grid and is lit with oil lamps at night and is on a several thousand acre private concession. The private concession is the key. Safaris in national parks are rife with other vehicles that encircle the animals and spoil the experiences of game viewing. The privacy at this camp avoids this issue.
Lebala is also very intimate, with only 15 guests maximum at a time...
the camps are clean, the food is terrific and the experience superb... Of all the places we stayed at (nearly 6), this place was the best.
