Xugana Island Lodge is situated in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, under a canopy of wild ebony and garcina trees overlooking tranquil Xugana Lagoon. The lodge accommodates 16 guests in raised reed and thatch chalets, each with a lagoon view through the delta vegetation. Each chalet is twin bedded with en-suite shower facilities, overhead fan and private deck. There is a swimming pool, which is submerged in the reeds on the banks of the lagoon. Meals are served al fresco in the dining area or open boma and the lounge, bar and dining areas are set under a tree canopy. Activities include birding, seasonal fishing, boating, mokoro excursions and island walks. As this is a water-based camp, there is no land based game viewing. Children over 12 welcome.
