I stayed at the Arabella Sheraton in Oct 06. A very contemporary 5* deluxe hotel with an element of African design, very comfortable rooms and lovely bathrooms. Great views from the bedrooms over the waterfront. Everything about the hotel is pristine, superbly located at the entrance to the V & A waterfront. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the waterfront, along with a water taxi. Excellent facilites throughout the hotel. Can honestly recommend this hotel.

The Westin Grand was a modern hotel in the city, probably more geared towards people travelling on business, as opposed to tourists.
Nevertheless, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, our room was lovely and breakfast was extremely good. No complaints!
