The Victoria and Alfred Southern Sun Waterfront hotel is a modern 4-star hotel located near Cape Town's premier leisure complex, the V&A Waterfront. The hotel has 546 well appointed luxury air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, providing the full comfort and quality one would expect from a full service hotel. There are non-smoking rooms as well as wheelchair accessible rooms. Facilities include an excellent breakfast room, restaurants, cocktail bar, fitness centre, secluded outdoor swimming pool and curio shop.

Not a good experience - we visited over the very busy Christmas period and they had no record of our reservation and prepayment, although eventually sorted out. Also had a very poor meal at the restaurant
We were very happy with the hotel. Enjoyed our golf, a few beers and good food! Disappointed with shark diving - very busy (24 people) and not exclusive

Southern Sun was a good hotel, all staff very intensive to please.
Ideally situated for all attractions in Cape Town
