The Sofitel Imperial Hotel is a luxury 5 star hotel situated on the West Coast of Mauritius. Sofitel Imperial Hotel consists of 136 spacious guest rooms, 4 deluxe suites and 1 presidential suite. All rooms are equipped with either a king-sized bed or 2 twin beds. Each room has its own balcony with sea view, private bathrooms with shower cubicle and separate toilet, hair dryer, mini-bar, air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, safe, built-in radio alarm clock, television and in-house video system. The Superior rooms are on the ground floor and have a sea patio. The Deluxe rooms are on the upper floors and have a balcony with sea view, tea maker, fruit and flowers on arrival. Travel agent counters, guest relations desk, sightseeing excursions desk, car rental desk, boutiques, dispensary, foreign exchange counter, laundry and dry cleaning are available. Activities on the lagoon include pedal boats, kayaks, windsurfing, waterskiing, snorkelling or scuba diving with an instructor. On the high seas guest can go deep sea fishing or cruise on board a sailboat. Land activities include tennis (3 floodlit tennis courts), a compact 9-hole all grass golf course, archery, jogging track, walking trails, fitness centre, sauna, massage and cycling. A mini-club for children between the ages of 4 and 12 is open daily between 10am. and 9.30pm. Babysitters are also available day and night on request.
