HOTELS REVIEW – SHIBULA WELGEVONDEN JOHANNESBURG
The lodge is situated in the wilderness of the Waterberg in a malaria free area. The reserve boasts the Big Five, a diversity of plants and animal life and more than 350 bird species. Accommodation includes eight en-suite rooms each with its own patio and outside shower. The honeymoon suite features a spa bath and the Executive suite has its own Jacuzzi. The royal suite is equipped with a private plunge pool. Also available are three standard suites, well suited for families, as well as two luxury free standing chalets, each fitted with a jacuzzi, private patio and garden. The main lodge offers a library, lounge and dining area, viewing deck, swimming pool, wine cellar and boma. Guests can indulge in African-inspired cuisine. Activities include game drives, bush walks, night drives, star gazing, bush picnics and a health and beauty spa. Children 10 years and older are welcome.
