The three-star Graywood Hotel is 300 metres from Knysna Waterfront and town centre. The hotel’s 49 en-suite bedrooms have airconditioning, remote-control TVs, direct-dial telephones, hairdryers and tea and coffee facilities. There are six triple rooms (master bedroom with Queen and day bed and en-suite bathroom); 15 triple/family rooms (master bedroom with double bed, sleeper couch and en-suite bathroom); 28 standard twin/double rooms (master bedroom with double/twin beds and en-suite bathroom). The hotel has a bar and swimming pool. The area’s attractions include Featherbed Nature Reserve, the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train, Monkeyland (a primate sanctuary), Birds of Eden (the Garden Route's free-flight bird sanctuary) and Elephant Park where visitors are allowed to touch and feed elephants.
