"Perfect Cape Town hotel"
An absolutely charming hotel. Rooms are beautifully furnished and stylish, and the staff are the friendliest, most professional people you could ask for. Though all food and drink is good, if you're staying when one of the hotel's excellent gourmet nights is held, be sure to attend it - 5 courses with specially selected wines to compliment them - unmissable.

A fabulous hotel. As we arrived late they kept the bar open a little longer so that we could relax after our flight.A bottle of chilled wine with snacks were waiting for us in the room (so we didn't need the bar after all!)
The room was a lovely suite, recently modernised with a shower. (I am sure if we had asked for a bath, there would have been no problems!)...breakfast- fit for a king, even catered for wheat intoleance,...Dinner wonderful ... childrens menu is beautifully done and comes with crayons! The pool and facilitiesexcellent... even have a high strength suncreams if you need them.It is not on the beach but you can be shuttled there and there is a road directly in front of the hotel between you and the sea, but absolutely no noise in the rooms facing the sea.The family suites are very well set out and they are really family friendly. As for the Jazz brunch, its superb...a definite must, even if you are not staying at the hotel!Would most definately stay again.

The hotel was in a lovely location with nicely decorated rooms and a great breakfast selection. We were unsure as to whether we were put in the correct room though... on arrival we were told the room is usually allocated to disabled guests hence the spaced out, larger room, however we didn't particularly see that as a reason for making us pay £20 extra per person per night!! As the lady arrived to hand over the tickets, I noticed a glaring problem - these guests were a German couple also called Mr & Mrs Brown and the husband was wheelchair bound. After chatting to the wife on the bus on route to Table Mountain she mentioned that their room wasn't very spacious and was proving rather difficult for her husband to move around!! We did offer to swap rooms if they wanted to however by this point we were in day 3 of our 5 day stay and we didn't cross paths with those guests again. The staff clearly need to pay a bit more attention to detail.
