Chestnut Country Lodge is a luxury guesthouse hotel in Hazyview, convenient for Kruger National Park. There are eight double or twin-bedded ensuite bedrooms, each with a covered patio and spectacular views down the Sabie Valley. There are also four spacious Luxury Suites and the newest one, the romantic Chestnut Suite, is ideal for honeymooners. The lodge accommodates up to 26 guests; no children under 12. Activities in the area include abseiling, archery, birding walks, bridge swinging, caving by candlelight, golfing, horse riding, helicopter flights, hot-air ballooning, river rafting, tubing and mountain biking. Tours take in coffee farms and a cheetah project, and night drives traverse Kapama Game Reserve. There is a swimming pool and the Kruger National Park is a 30-minute drive away. 4WD skills courses are offered.

Provided just what we wanted - a place to chill out. Large rooms and beautifully set out. Food again fine, although by then perhaps we would have valued some choice in meals
One of the best places I stayed. Would definitely recommend
