Inyati Game Lodge Hotel Reviews, Sabie Sand Kruger National Park South African Safari Holiday Accommodation Tour Lion Elephant Cheetah Big Cats Dogs

HOTEL REVIEWS - SABIE SANDS

Inyati – which means “buffalo” in the local Shangaan language – is a luxury 4-star safari game lodge in the Sabie Sand sector of the Kruger National Park. It is, of course, home to herds of buffalo – as well as the rest of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant and rhino). There are 10 air-conditioned ensuite chalets decked out in rich, earthy African tones. Each has mosquito nets and phones. Morning and evening game drives are in open Land Rovers and led by experienced rangers and trackers. Walking safaris leave just before or after breakfast. Other activities include fishing (equipment is supplied) and star gazing (the lodge has telescopes and gives talks on stars and planets seen in southern skies). Inyati has a fully equipped gym, a swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Sand River (look out for hippos). Swap stories of sightings in the bar, called the Warthog Wallow. A private airstrip is suitable for light aircraft.
