HOTELS REVIEW-MAKALALI PRIVATE GAME LODGE
The lodge is in Hoedspruit, Limpopo, with Kruger National Park to the east and the Drakensburg Mountains in the west. Makalali has four separate camps, all of which have six luxury suites with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor shower, fireplace, private viewing deck and a raised gazebo. Each camp has a pool, dining area and the entertainment area/conference area is close to all camps. The four camps are within easy access of each other. Mikalali Game Reserve has more than 1000 animals, including four of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino). Activities include game-drives, which take place twice daily, stargazing, and various team-building exercises. Children’s activities can be organised, including a Mini Rangers course, during which children will learn about bush plants, tracking and bush-survival skills.
