The lodge was nice and comfortable - no guesses why the name, we didn't see further than our nose because of the thick fog. Shame we didn't see the view. It looks amazing on their website. The journey through the Blyde River Canyon was something we didn't expect. The scenery was just like the Scottish Highlands, we felt like home (good thing!)

Amazing views, very peaceful and the log fires in the lodges made it feel very homely - the food was fantastic - a wonderful memory

Stopped here for lunch on the way through the Panorama route. Had a quick look around. Stunning location. Rooms simplly furnished but have all you need. Very spacious. Staff great too.

It certainly lived up to its name - very foggy and torrential rain when we arrived so no view whatsoever. We took this opportunity to just chill out after the long journey and spent most of our afternoon / evening at the pool table drinking cocktails! The staff kindly laid out a little private table with flowers and bubbly to toast our marriage. By morning, the air had cleared and we could see for miles, shame we didn't get to utilise the pool as it looked lovely. Room was basic but very comfy and the log fire was a really nice feature.
