Jatinga Country Lodge is a luxury 5-star hotel in White River near the Kruger National Park, with a wedding chapel. Couples can get married in this quaint, open-sided chapel on the banks of the White River and stay in Jatinga’s sumptuous Honeymoon Suite. The lodge has 16 rooms and four suites. All rooms come with air-conditioning, satellite TV, phones, bathrobes and bird books (bird life abounds and binoculars may be borrowed from reception). Rooms are funished in different styles – for example, English Country themed rooms have cherrywood four-poster beds, a Colonial suites have a ball and claw bath and Orchard rooms have views of the citrus orchard. The Jatinga homestead, built in the 1920s, was originally a hunting lodge and still has original fireplaces in the lounge. There is an a la carte restaurant, a pub, a wine cellar, a gift shop, a swimming pool, hammocks in the gardens and an elevated wooden deck overlooking the White River (a good spot for sundowners). Guests may play crouquet and French boules. The lodge is only 38 km from the Numbi entrance gate into the Kruger National Park.
