Lechwe Plains Tented Camp is located in the Lochinvar National Park north of Lusaka, on the Kafue River floodplain. This is the last stronghold of the Kafue Lechwe, an aquatic antelope of extraordinary grace. The tented lodge, built on teak decking, shelters under a mature grove of acacia trees on the edge of the wide Chunga Lagoon. There are 6 tented en-suite rooms each with a private viewing deck. Activities include game viewing drives, guided walks, cultural visits, birding, fishing, visits to archaeological sites, water activities and mokoro excursions. The camp is open April to November only. Children over 6 years are welcome.
