HOTELS REVIEW - LYTHWOOD LODGE NATAL MIDLANDS
This 5 star lodge is set in the Natal Midlands on a 265 acre estate surrounded by an indigenous forest. Accommodation ranges from self-catered cottages to an executive suite. There are en-suite facilities with separate bath and shower, fresh flowers from the garden, fruit bowl, homemade biscuits, tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV and telephone. The self-catering cottages are fitted with all necessities, two twin bedded en-suite rooms, a kitchen, dining area, lounge, patio and braai area. Facilities include laundry, shoe cleaning, safety deposit box, room service, email and fax, covered parking and the daily newspaper on request. There is a large communal lounge, library, ballroom, dining room and bar. Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool and eating area under the trees. Activities include walks through the indigenous forest, swimming, trout fishing, a tour to one of the Anglo Boer war battlefields and a horse whispering experience.
