Kleine Zalze Lodge offers luxury 4-star hotel accommodation on the sprawling Kleine Zalze Wine Estate outside Stellenbosch, with award-winning wines and fine dining. The Lodge enjoys panoramic views of vineyards, mountains and the Peter Matkovich designed De Zalze Golf Course. The 47 bedrooms offer a range of stylishly decorated suites, some with kitchenettes. The popular Terroir restaurant specialises in Provençal cuisine. Guests can enjoy wine tasting, mountain biking, vineyard walks, sauna, swimming pool and a championship golf resort.

Not a 4-star hotel. Because no suites were available at the time of booking we were forced to accept a standard room at this 4 star hotel. What a mistake! The room was small and dark. Three paces wide with a standard double bed. Under the kitchens so that in the morning when the staff arrived at 6 am further sleep was impossible. Do not accept this room at this hotel. Room "CHENIN 3". It is not of 4 star quality. We had booked for 2 nights, but tried to find somewhere else as soon as we saw the room. This was not possible so we were forced to stay 1 night. We checked out the next morning.
