Kafunta River Lodge is set in a forest on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. The lodge has 8 luxurious chalets built on raised wooden platforms under a thatched roof. The main area, which has a bar and dining area, is thatched and built around a large wild mango tree with panoramic views over the Luangwa River and South Luangwa National Park. Facilities include a swimming pool and a natural hot spring tub. The lodge is open all year. Activities include game drives, night drives, walking safaris, bird watching tours and cultural tours.
