Lunga River Lodge lies on the banks of the Lunga River in Zambia’s Busanga Plains, on the northern border of Kafue National Park. The lodge has 6 spacious thatched rooms with en-suite shower and bathroom and with private decks that overlook the river, ensuring breathtaking views. There is a fully stocked bar with sundeck that is suspended over the river, a dining room and deck, reading room and plunge pool. Activities include game drives and night drives, walking safaris, guided canoe & boating trips as well as fishing. Specialist birding walks and drives are offered for birding enthusiasts. We stayed two nights at Lunga river and three at Busanga bush camp. Both were excellent camps with wonderfull game drives...
Beware the flight from Lusaka we used the charter air service but the pilot forgot to lower the landing gear!!! Fortunately no damage to us only the plane.
